[GA ARES] Great Idea

Stan,

The last exchange of emails just gave me an idea.

If you include a POP/SMTP capability in your Packet Client it would
instantly be able to leverage the Winlink system as a global backbone and
it would also include the B2F protocol compression when the message goes
through either Airmail or Paclink. This would greatly improve throughput.

Email capability would even allow users to send messages to anyone with an
email address.

The Packet Client should even be able to co-exist on the same computer with
Airmail or Paclink.

This would even let you receive traffic directly from the EOC email clients.

One of the most common requests from people actually using Airmail and
Paclink in EMCOMM is for some form of template for messages that are not
sent as attachments. This is something your client is ideally suited for.

Wow! The more I think about this the more it seems like a real Win / Win
situation.
