[GA ARES] Alford Memorial Hamfest

The OHS/GEMA Mobile Communication Van (MCV) will be on display at he 2006 Alford Memorial Radio Club Hamfest (aka Lawrenceville Hamfest) this coming Saturday Nov 4th. Charles Bryant a GEMA State Warning officer will be in charge of the vehicle and is a newly licensed Amateur Radio Operator himself. Charles successfully attended the 2 day Technician workshop given at the State Operation Center last Spring headed up by David Benoist (AZ4GR) and Lynn Bianco (KN4YZ). Good job guys! 
 
A Winlink station will be set-up in the MCV to give support to Tom Olley (KG4VUB) our Digital DEC who will speak during the ARES® Forum at 11AM. So please make attending the ARES® Forum a top priority on your Hamfest "Things to do" list as well as coming by the MCV and saying hello to Charles.
