Please see information about a survey that Fayette County ARES is conducting about the use of digital modes. A link to this survey was also posted in gaares.groups.io. If you responded to the groups.io post, please do not complete the survey a second time.
Good afternoon all!
The Fayette ARES group is conducting an internal digital interest and capabilities survey, and would like to invite the larger Georgia ARES group to participate.
The survey is designed to determine the breadth and depth of digital experience, and expertise, in the ARES community. The survey is an outgrowth of the recent NVIS exercise, where we noticed some difficulty with digital mode operations.
We’ll keep the survey open for responses for the next week, then we’ll analyze the results and report back to the membership. We’ll use the results to gauge the popularity of digital modes by type. Don’t worry – this won’t be used to ‘pick a winner’; we’re just interested in finding out who’s doing what in regards to digital modes.
If you have any questions please don’t hesitate to contact me at w8byh@arrl.net
Thanks!
