Northwest GA ARES and Northeast Tennessee will have an antenna Shootout on November 15th at 9:00 AM. The location for the Georgia participants is:

Radio Clubs, ARES, POTA & all other radio operators are welcome. The bands tested will be 75-80m, 60m, 40m, & 10m. There will be a resonant dipole for each band with which to compare at each site.
- Radio and coax will be provided for this test.
- Antennas to be tested, dipoles, off-center dipole, G5RV, Cobra, slopers, and hamsticks,
NVIS, hamstick dipole, coil-loaded verticals, Buddipole, loops, & EFHW.
If you have an antenna that will tune on these bands and would like to test it, bring it. You do not need to bring an antenna to participate in the test. All appropriately licensed amateur operators are welcome.
If you would like to be a reporting station from your QTH, please contact me so that you can be added to the list. I am going to bring some of my ARES & POTA antennas to test.
After the antenna test is complete, there will be a QRP radio test.
