Many thanks to Kory, W4RZ, and Murdock, W4JNR, for serving as NCSs for the P2P SET#1 session last Saturday. Kory was on 80m taking check-ins and sent tasking assignments. Murdock was on 40m, receiving tasking reports and also checking in those who could not do so on 80m.
Kory’s summary report for the event is re-posted below with the map link of check-ins. Great job to all. This coming Saturday, 16-Nov, is SET #2. We encourage everyone to participate. See the P2P Instructions for SET, previously published. Note: Be sure to address the messages to GAARES-P2P, NOT to WG4PTP.

W4RZ SUMMARY REPORT:
The following is a breakdown of the GA ARES Winlink P2P 2024 SET from yesterday. We ran two (2) concurrent tactical stations on 40 and 80 meters with different operational goals, the totals below are combined from both stations.
We had a total of twenty-five (25) check-ins from within the GA ARES group.
Out of the twenty-five, twenty-one (21) used the proper format for checking in or out.
Out of the twenty-five users that checked in we had 18 taskings completed, for a total of 78 messages in total passed during the 2.5-hour SET session.
I would like to give a special shout out to the Peach County Emergency Operations Center (WX4PCH), they activated their EOC for the SET and had 3 operators available and all 3 checked in and completed taskings during the SET.
We did have some messages addressed wrong and sent in using the WG4PTP address and not using the GAARES-P2P tactical address, as mentioned in the instructions. Out of these misaddressed messages five (5) users did correct the mistake on the second message during check out or tasking, a special thanks to these users for catching the error and correcting it, way to stay vigilant.
