HF voice net will start on secondary frequency and move to primary frequency after daily traffic nets are complete. If you do not hear traffic on a channel, check the secondary channel for traffic.

What the situation is, specifically.
The net will be accepting check-ins and storm-related traffic, i.e., damage. Remember that P2P does not use internet. If you have important traffic, you should first attempt to route it via Telnet or RMS if internet is working in the area.
If internet is not functional, send the message to this net (WX4PTC or GAARES-P2P) and our NCS ops will do their best to forward it to the required destination.
Due to expected storm impact, this net prefers you use short text to describe the event or damage rather than use any Winlink Template messages.
If you feel the need to send the larger messages with forms, they will be accepted but will take much longer to transmit.
THE NET WILL OPEN FRIDAY MORNING AT 0730 ON BOTH 80m & 40m
AND WILL REMAIN OPEN FOR TRAFFIC UNTIL WEATHER PASSES AND THERE IS NO LONGER AN OPERATIONAL NEED
